Reading Tutoring For Elementary StudentsKeith may not look like your average elementary school teacher, but young kids love him right away. He has a tremendous amount of experience working with kindergarten through
fifth grade students as a teacher, tutor, parent coach, youth leader, educational comedian and camp counselor. When working with young students, Keith does "voices' and "characters" to keep them engaged. After the initial consultation, your child will want to have Keith come over. |
In Home Tutoring makes students Happy!Students are more comfortable sitting at their kitchen or dining room table because they are in familiar surroundings. Keith insists that a parent, relative, or guardian is always present and in the area of the home Keith is working in. The parent can overhear all the rhymes, songs, chants and techniques he uses. And this is important: Keith turns the parents into reading tutors themselves. If a parent drops off their child at a traditional tutoring location, they don't actually learn how to teach their child to read. At the end of each session, Keith will teach the parents why he is doing what he is doing.
